RainbowMe Kids Launches The LoreKeeper’s Journal: A Movie-in-a-Box Where Children Become the Heroes
[Greensboro, NC] — What if a child could open a book and step inside the story? That’s the premise of The LoreKeeper’s Journal, a groundbreaking new experience from RainbowMe Kids that transforms reading into a cinematic adventure.
The LoreKeeper’s Journal is more than a storybook — it’s a movie in a box. Guided by Henry, a 19th-century ancestor, and his great-great-great grandson, Elijah children complete challenges, unlock magical gateway cards, and step into the story as the main character of the adventure.
Inside the Journal box, families will discover:
-
The LoreKeeper’s Journal (artifact-style storybook)
-
Magical Gateway Cards (scan to unlock AR adventures + challenges)
-
A world map and collectible stickers
-
AR Book: O is for Oshun (introducing 26 folklore & fairytale heroes)
-
AR Book: How Kofi Amero Became the Hero of Amero (a full-length hero’s journey)
“Children of color deserve to see themselves as the heroes of epic adventures,” said Kya Johnson, founder of RainbowMe Kids. “The LoreKeeper’s Journal is about more than reading — it’s about legacy, imagination, and creating a family tradition that feels like stepping inside a movie.”
The Journal also serves as the prequel to O is for Oshun, RainbowMe Kids’ acclaimed AR book that introduces 26 global folklore and fairytale characters. Together, they form a storytelling universe where diversity and imagination are at the center.
The LoreKeeper’s Journal debuts this holiday season but is designed as an evergreen family tradition that merges cultural storytelling, technology, and interactivity year-round.
